
Special Liaison Team Leader
Born 8 March 1974 in Phoenix, Arizona. Lived in Phoenix majority of his youth and moved to Blackfoot, Idaho prior to freshman year of High School.
Paternal grandfather (namesake) was in the European theatre during WWII and participated in the landing at Normandy and several other campaigns thereafter. Two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. (OOOORRRAAAAHHHH!!) Truly the “Greatest Generation”.
Joined U.S.M.C. after graduating high school. After completion of Boot Camp in 1992, went on to become a Crash Fire Rescue firefighter for the Marines. Spent last three years of duty in the Marines as a Drill Instructor at MCRD San Diego. Honorably discharged from U.S.M.C. in 2000 after eight years of service.
Joined Idaho Army National Guard in 2001 and went full time Guard within a few months of joining as a Training NCO with the local Artillery BN. Completed a deployment with the 116th BCT to Kirkuk, Iraq in November 2005. Currently serving as a Recruiter with the Guard stationed in Blackfoot.
Married my high school sweetheart, (a couple years after high school; took me some time to convince her). Have three boys.
Past Assistant Executive Director of POW*MIA Association 2007.
