Early History: Born in Munich Germany. I was adopted and moved to the United States at 4 years if age. I became a naturalized citizen at 7 years old. I was raised in Salmon, ID.
Education: Graduated from Salmon High School.
Work History: My careers have included resort manager, tree trimmer, foreman at a potato processing plant, and inventory control manager at a potato handling equipment manufacturing facility. I currently own and operate “Freddie’s Roadhouse”, a Veteran and Biker Friendly bar.
Military: My father was career Air Force. I was an Air Force brat, moving from base to base until he retired and we moved to Salmon, ID. I tried to join the Air Force after graduation from High School, but because of a hearing impairment, was ineligible to join.
Community Involvement: I am a patriot and supporter of all Veterans. I am a member of the Sons of the American Legion. I am an active member of the POW*MIA Awareness Rally Corp., and have been since its inception in 2001. My past positions in the POW*MIA organization have included Assistant Director and Facilities Director.
Hobbies: Riding motorcycles, restoring old cars / motorcycles, fishing, and traveling to Alaska to visit my son.
